This paper investigates the propagation of neutrinos in a curved spacetime background. Following from this, we propose a novel mechanism for generating their masses via gravity-embedded Weinberg operator. This model arises from a hitherto unexplored interaction between gravitational field and the Majorana-neutrino fields. Two distinct methods, each, of calculating dimensionless gravitational couplings from a gravitational field and spontaneous-symmetry-breaking mass-scale of high-energy unified theory are presented. The results are used to calculate the individual neutrino masses in the presence of a pure gravitational field. Possible connection to Grand Unified Theories (GUTs) and single-field (slow-roll) inflationary model of the universe is also suggested. To explicitly demonstrate the testability of our model, we reproduce the major results of three-flavor neutrino-oscillation experiments and predict, for the first time in the history of neutrino physics, the individual masses of the three active neutrinos and the neutrino mass hierarchy signature.
