ABSTRACT
In the higher institution, it is the duty of the management to provide the students with conducive environment for learning. In a country like Nigeria, the number of students in higher institutions is quite massive. In a situation like this, the management of the some of these higher institutions may be tempted to admit more students than can manage. This may put the welfare of the students of risk. Over the years, the students’ welfare/affairs departments of most schools in Nigeria have been conducting or carrying out their operations manually. It is my opinion that automating the system will make it possible for the management of higher institutions handle the welfare of the students efficiently, not minding their number. This will make it easier to tackle problems like security, students accommodation problems etc effectively. As a result of these, computerized apartment management system is designed to assist in the apartment management process in order to ascertain the appropriate number of students needed during admission in a particular department to the next. In order to avoid the errors and problems in the admission of larger population.
