ABSTRACT
This study examining the relationship between collective bargaining and conflict resolution in Nigerian T,abour Congress, Ahuja from 1999 to 2011. However, the study has two hypotheses that were tested using the chi-square technique. The study adopted the use of probability and stratified sampling technique for its data presentation, and data was collected from both primary and secondary sources. The questionnaire in form of closed ended questions was used to collect raw information from respondents. However, 103 questionnaires were distributed to respondents and TOO were returned with RO from NLC, Ahuja and 20 from Trade Unions and Industrial Relations department Ministry of Labour and Productivity. The Marxian perspective was the theory used to explain the reason behind the continued conflicts between NLC and the Federal Government. The findings revealed that the relationship between Government and NLC in collective bargaining and conflict resolution is not cordial. The inability of government to honour collective agreements reached promotes conflict
