ABSTRACT Modern Agriculture and Economic Growth in Apac District. Its objectives are; to find out the contribution of modern Agriculture in Apac District, to establish the trend of GDP growth of Apac, to investigate how modern agriculture has eradicated poverty in Apac. The hypothesis of the study was

there is so many significant relationships between Agriculture and GDP, The trend of Agriculture and GDP growth showed a general increase with percentages change of 80.65and 66.1 percent respectively. There is also significant relationship ~etween Agriculture and GDP growth at 0.05 level of significance) stationary was tested and found th~t both Agriculture and GDP has trend by using ACF and PACF. In conclusion therefore both Agriculture and GDP growth has a general increase, there is a positive relationship between Agriculture and growth in Uganda which agreed with Karl et al(2003), Gallup et al (1997), Tiffin et al (2006), Katirciglu (2006)study on Agriculture and GDP growth and found a significant relationship this has implied that the agriculture plays play a Very important role in economic growth.
