ABSTRACT 
 
 The researcher in this research work “Evaluation of the Impact of Insurance Industry in Fund Mobilization on the Nigeria Capital Marketâ€. The fundamental objectives are the improvement of the growth of domestic, corporate sector and assistance of the various forms of institutional savings like life assurance and pensions. The research was conducted through the administration of observation, questionnaire, personnel interview method and review of publications in related subject area, in collecting the data.  It was discovered from collection and analysis of data, that the failure in the capital market was caused by low demand for securities. And that the ineffectiveness and inefficiency prevalent in the capital market was occasioned by few financial instruments and poor liquidity management manifested in unavailability of infrastructural facilities and attitude of many investors who buy securities and store when they should be made obtainable in the market.
