The Impact of Capacity Building on Employees Performance in Commercial Bank of Ethiopia in the Case of South Addis Ababa District city branches

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of capacity building on employee’s performance in of case commercial bank of Ethiopia south Addis Ababa district city branches. Explanatory research design applied using quantitative method is assumed to be appropriate for this study matter. Data were collected through simple random sampling technique. A self-administered questionnaire was conducted for data collection. One hundred eighty five copies of questionnaires were distributed, and one hundred seventy six questionnaires were properly filled and returned from randomly selected employees who are working in the Commercial bank of Ethiopia south Addis Ababa district city branches. SPSS 16 has used to analysis the collected data. The study considered the aspect of capacity building that deals with the development of the individual or a group of people. Using questionnaires, the researchers collected facts and analyzed them. The results of the study revealed that training and development, human resource management, employee empowerment. Recommendations are made based on the overall findings for possible action that will help further improvement based on the researcher’s view.
