Advertising is as old as mankind. The desire of humans to make others aware of the product and services they are selling in order to get some personal gain for themselves is innate. Therefore, it can be established that advertising has been in existence since the beginning of time. According to Belch and Belch (2001), Advertising is defined as any paid non-personal communication and promotion of ideas, goods or services through mass media such as newspaper, magazines, television or radio by an identified sponsor. To corroborate this, Onabajo (2011) defines advertising as making publicly known that an individual or an organization has benefits, usually products and services, it wishes to offer an identified target audience in return for some other benefits usually money. Hence, Advertising is notification in various ways to create widespread fame for someone or somewhat to attract consumers, viewers, etc.
