continual struggle for effective representation of workers in Uganda; the study

internationally bringing to light the strides of various key factors on workers'

representation in the parliament of Uganda and at the work place. It further brings to

light the more crucial questions regarding the challenges faced by the labour unions, as

well as resolution attempts and tenders further recommendations.

The research also examined the policies relating to labour unions and how it

implements both international and national dogmas relevant to workers' rights in

Uganda. The legal framework through labour policies, regulatory bodies and laws therefore has been substantial in addressing labour grievances in Uganda.
