It is no doubt that the kind of frame the media attach to a particular story, will invariably influence the way the public understand and react to that event. The newspapers no doubt play a crucial role in determining the way the public view this Fulani herdsmen-famers saga inNigeria. Nevertheless, this research work investigates how the four purposively selected Nigerian dailies (The Guardian, The Sun, The Nation and Vanguard) framed the Fulani herdsmen-famers crisis in Nigeria, with a view to determining the frequency, prominence,type of frames used and the dominant frame used in reporting the crisis.
