ABSTRACT

This piece of writing is a reflection of the skills acquired in during the initial learning stage of module on strategic operation management and operational research modules together with critical analysis of an operations manager in a company, Morrisons. Hence, the write up is divided into two key sections that fall into the categories of reflective learning and critical analysis of an operations managers job in a company called Morrisons. The students are expected to make effort to reflect objectively on the material they have learnt in the preliminary section of the module, highlighting how the course helped in enhancing understanding of each student's chosen area of strength which in this case  being operations management and, in essence, an advantage to the student's selection, competency in collaboration and coordination.

Basically, it is evident that the students competencies have undergone a significant transformation by means of this course of study, allowing us to effectively assess and make improvements to process efficiency both within the context of operations and in a wider corporate setting. Essentially collaboration skills, coordination or leadership encompasses a variety of competencies, which include interpersonal relationships. Through the use of various academic techniques, it is evident that the participants knowledge has really been impacted and has gotten better significantly during the course.
