PERSONALITY AND INTERPERSONAL INFLUENCE AS CORRELATES OF TEENAGE PREGNANCY AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN UGWUNAGBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF ABIA STATE

ABSTRACT
This research work focuses on personality and interpersonal influence as correlates of teenage pregnancy among secondary school students in Ugwunagbo Local Government Area of Abia State. The study also captures the concept of Adolescent Personality and Interpersonal relationship. Four (4) research questions and hypothesis was formulated to guide the study. The design of the study was correlational research design. The instrument used for the study was PIICTPASSS designed in four Liken scale and a simple random sampling technique was used in selecting 200 students used for the study that responded to the questionnaire. The data collected was analyzed using t-test (two tailed test) measured at degrees of freedom (df) of 198 and 0.05 level of significance. The findings from the result showed that all the null hypothesis was accepted. The implication of the results and suggestions for further studied were made.
