The data was presented in tabular form, pie charts and bar graphs with frequencies and percentages. The study findings revealed that just like in most developing countries, the problems of poverty are massive and pervasive. In recent decades most ofthese countries have tried to develop the economy with industry and technology with varying levels of success. However, lack essential raw materials and the knowledge and skills gained through formal education and training. The study concludes that corruption often accompanies centralization of power, when leaders are not accountable to those they serve. More directly, corruption inhibits development when leaders help themselves to money that would otherwise be used for development projects. Corruption, both in government and business, places heavy cost on society. Businesses should enact, publicize and follow codes of conduct banning corruption on the part oftheir staff and directors. The study recommends that there is a need of recognition at the national level of the issue. Though government of Somalia has considered this issue but, consistent follow-up is mandatory. There should be enough educational programs in all societies and cultures, both for women and men at the same levels.
