ABSTRACT
This project titled “the production of lead-acid battery” for the production of a 12v antimony battery for automobile application. The battery is used for storing electrical charges in the form of chemical energy releasing the energy as electrical energy when needed. It is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy for Starting-Lighting-Ignition (SLT) system. The process involve in the procurement of the various parts viz electrodes, the lead grid panels, propylene container and sulfuric acid. Relevant results were obtained from the production process to measure the stability and ampere-hours (Ahr) delivered under constant load.
