Organisations are constantly striving to grow and develop thus, invest heavily to drive this agenda. In 2019, the world was caught offguard when the COVID-19 virus struck. Nevertheless, businesses across the globe managed to survive, giving rise to new international business trends. This study focused on International Business Trends Emerging Out of COVID-19 in which three research questions were posited. These were; finding out some of the international business trends emerging out of COVID-19, the tool driving these emerging international business trends, some challenges associated with the emergence of international business in an era of COVID-19 as well as how these research questions tie into or have a nexus with the Diffusion of Innovation Theory. Findings revealed that, some international business trends emerging out of COVID-19 include; the use of drones in delivering goods as well as the introduction of Telemedicine. In addition, technology was found to be the tool driving these international business trends emerging out of COVID-19 and lastly, some challenges associated with the emergence of international business trends in the era of COVID-19 had to do with the cost of investing into technological research and development as well as having the needed technical expertise.
