Fundamental Expertise to Improve Patient Care

The nursing profession can make a difference between life and death of a patient, it can also have an emotional impact on the lives of the patient and family, therefore, it is expedient for a caregiver to possess critical skills and competencies that will make them lifesavers rather than angels of death. The four fundamental responsibilities of nurses are: to promote health, to prevent illness, to restore health and to alleviate suffering. Life is irreplaceable! Entrusting such a valuable treasure (life) to nurses show the high level of the trust reposed by the public in the professionals; hence, the only right thing expected is to possess the Fundamental Expertise to Improve Patient Care quality that guarantees the preservation of life. The paper will focus on outlining a pilot study that will examine the Fundamental Expertise, Skills, and Attribute which are needed to Improve Patient Care quality
