ROLE OF SPIDERS IN BUILDING MAINTENANCE

Spiders are primarily beneficial and their activities should be encouraged in the garden. Pesticide control is difficult and rarely necessary. The best approach to controlling spiders in and around the home is to remove hiding spots for secretive spiders such as black windows and regularly clean webs off the house with brushes and vacuums.

Maintenance of a building is the work undertaken in order to keep or restore every part of a building, every facilities or machinery to an acceptable standard. Maintaining a building is expensive. It cost more time to run a building over it lifetime than to build it. Maintenance is often not accorded the priority it warrants. A poorly maintained building will be a drain on resources and will  impair building  use, whereas a  well maintained  building will function smoothly and represent an appreciating asset to its owner
