Sleep Disturbances After Traumatic Brain Injury

Traumatic brain injury is leading cause of sleep disturbance with patient having headache, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, We find most of patient having sleeping disturbance because of internal bleeding affect the major part in brain, which leads to decrease in amount of hormone.

A moderate traumatic brain injury is defined as an injury that results in a loss of consciousness that lasts between 30 minutes and six hours. Severe TBI is one that lasts more than six hours.

Every physician has their own estimate as to how long the traumatic brain injury will last. Some physicians may suggest depending on the extent of the injury and the recovery of the patient that it may take around six months for an individual to fully recover while it may take longer for some individuals. 

conclusion came that patient need time to recover of internal parts of brain which gradually improve the sleeping disorder by time
