ABSTRACT The study was about students’ Discipline and social outcomes in selected secondary schools in Migwani District, Kenya. The study was guided by the following objectives; to determine the profile of the respondents, to establish the level of Students’ discipline, to establish the level of Social Outcome, and to find out the relationship between level of Students’ Discipline and the level of Social Outcome. Using eight selected schools out of 15 in the District, the respondents of the study were basically 231 teachers in the selected schools in the constituency. The study employed descriptive correlations design. The findings of the study included that: the level of students’ discipline in the secondary schools in the district is satisfactory, the level of social outcomes is also satisfactory, and that there is a strong positive relationship between level of Students’ Discipline and level of Social outcomes. The study recommends that Parents and teachers should endeavor to improve on the discipline levels of their children since this is an effect influential on social outcomes. The study further recommends that more sanguine disciplinary measures should be adopted in the societies so as to mitigate the rebellious effect of Corporal punishments among the juveniles.
