ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of war among vulnerable groups
in Northern Uganda.
The specific objectives of the study were to determine if human rights abuse was talcing
place, to determine if there was infrastructure in the area; and to determine if there were
any other problems being faced by the people in the war affected areas. The methods
used for data collection was questionnaires and interview guides to the vulnerable groups
in the area.
In chapter four, the findings were presented and interpreted in relation to the study
objectives and research questions. While linking to the existing literature, results included demographic characteristics, frequency and percentages. Based on the findings it was observed that the war had had so many negative consequences to the people of Northern Uganda.
In chapter five, development of solutions to the problem, summary of the findings and conclusions were attempted. The findings suggested recommendations that the Government should and other stake holders should follow to address the problem.
