The Foundation and Sustenance of the Church

The world has witnessed human institutions and organizations that were built on the foundation of one’s dream and passion. They were and have been sustained by various human philosophies, a range of policies, standardized financial generation and management theories, and most of all, shaping and contextualizing them to meet the desires of the generation(s) of their day. All that, mostly for self-aggrandizement, or to find one’s fulfillment through philanthropic service to the community. Via such, individuals have magnified and engraved personal names on world-relevant historical records. As time passes by, many of these institutions, organizations, and individuals have fallen out of people’s favor, and eventually collapsed. Contrary to world normative, we have witnessed an institution that has suffered the traumatic human violence and opposition from the inside out since its inception, and yet, it has survived two millennials since it’s inauguration on a Jewish Day of a feast called the Day of Pentecost around 33 A.D. The Bible calls it the Church and describes it as a spiritually living organism. Where is it built and how has it survived millennials?
