The Idea of Philosophy of Law

This paper dedicated to discourse of the idea of philosophy of law. It will be concerned with meaning of philosophy, law, the relationship between law and philosophy. Likewise, the essential features of law, arguments or different conceptions of law, or put in another way, the argument between the natural law theorists and the legal positivists on the concept and foundation of law. Furthermore, in this paper the four kinds of law according to St. Thomas Aquinas would be discussed as well as attempts would be made to look at the criticism or shortcomings of the four kinds of law. What then is philosophy of law?
