ABSTRACT
This reseaich was based on the impact of employee welfare on organizational performance of industries in Juba city and the case study was at Petroleum industry
The reseaichei was inteiested in this topic because the welfaie of employees in industues has not been put in to consideration which has made many if the organization in Juba not to performance to their maximum in providing social seivices to the people
The major methods used by the researcher to collect data included research design, sample selection, interviews, self administered questionnaires and these were basically categorized basing on the questions set by the researcher. The major findings obtained by the researcher indicated that 66 7% of the respondents were of the opinion that welfare measures affect their performance at work and this has caused the employee to perfoim poorly resulting from lack of motivation, ovei woiking, pooi woiking environment and this has hindered the organization to perform to its maximum. However it is
urged that employees should receive allowances, housing for those companies who provides transportation, medical, insurance, food and employees have a rights to demand (Michael Armstrong, 2001) Some of the recommendations made by the researcher in this report include further research to be conducted on the impact of motivation on the performance of employees in the organizations, the impact of team work on employee performance in organization, employee motivation in local government
