The Impacts Of Financial Records Management To Business Performance Case Study; Avemar Shopping Arcade Kampala

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the study was to examine the Impacts of Financial Records Managements to both Formal and Informal Business Enterprises within Avemar Shopping Arcade in Kampala Central Business District. The study sought to investigate the difficulties that Formal and Informal Business Enterprises are faced with in managing their financial records.

The concern was also to determine the impacts that financial records management has on the development and growth of both Formal and Informal business enterprises in Avemar Shopping Arcade. The study was carried out in Avemar Shopping Arcade in Kampala Central Business District in July 2006

Questionnaires were used to collect primary data from respondents, although some data were collected from secondary sources in the library. Accurate data analysis procedures were employed to come up with findings and recommendation that will assist in creation and implementation of informed policies to improve Financial Records Management among Formal and Informal business enterprises.
