ABSTRACT
This report provides a comprehensive summary of the basic information on the importance of the course co-operative development to the public administration student. It covers the nature and extent of the use of co-operatives its historical background on its development both in and out of Nigeria and equally show its relevance to the public administration students. The purpose is to make available, in a single report, the information someone would need to acquire the understanding of how co-operative functions.
