Assessment of Educational Facilities on lecturers performance

           ABSTRACT

The study was designed to access the office facilities on lecturers performance in School of Science and Technology Education, Federal University of Technology Minna. The population consist of 50 lecturers and 4 administrators. Teaching and non-teaching staff in School of Science and Technology Education was assessed. Structure questionnaire was used as instruments for data collection. Three research questions and two null hypotheses were formulated. Mean was used to analyze the data for answering research questions while t- test was used to test the hypotheses of no significant difference at 0.05 level of significance. It was revealed that, the office facilities provided for lecturers of School of Science and Technology Education is not adequate. Strategies for improvement were proffered. It was recommended that Government, heads of institutions and other stakeholders should make adequate provision of office facilities, budgetary allocation should be increased for education in other to provide more funds to acquire office facilities in tertiary institutions.
