The effect indicates that internal displacement has a substantial effect on the women rights of protection from torture. The study concluded that internal displacement had a low bearing on women rights of food. These could be because in the IDPs food is provided, though there exist deficiencies in food supplies that need to be improved the effect on the food is not much as the humanitarian organizations seem active despite some deficiencies. Furthermore The study conclude on the second objective that internal displacement have a bearing on protections from torture, forced movements affect the rights of torture as some women are tortured in the process of the management of the refugee stances in the areas, internal displacement can be handled through appropriate consideration of limiting torture. The study recommend that there is need for UNHCR and its partners to apply the guiding principles to protect the displaced women and children bearing in mind their needs of psychological support, protection, shelter, food and water in the short term. Other practical measures which can be applied include: providing adequate lighting in the camps; providing fuel so that women do not have to walk to unsafe areas to collect firewood; and to provide training in security mechanisms to avoid abuse and abduction. Furthermore the recommends that Displacement should be well planned and clear procedures put in place to pre-vent human rights violations and to respect human dignity. For instance, they should not take place during bad weather, at night or when people are unlikely to be at home. There is need for apprehending the women torture victims by the security forces on the ground. There is need for enhancing effective prevention and confirm comprehensive protection of and aid and assistance to victims of violence, abuse, crime and terrorism
