ABSTRACT The study focused on the influence of parents involved on students’ academic performance in Binyiny secondary school in Binyiny town council, kween district Oral interviews, questionnaires and documentary review were employed in data collection. The study tries to find out the impact of parents involvement on students academic performance Research population was school administrators, teachers, members of board of governors and students of Binyiny secondary school. 80 senior four students, head-teacher, class teacher and a member of Board of Governors in charge of Academic Affairs were respectively taken as sample randomly, and purposely. Qualitative data were collected on students’ access to school lunch and also class day attendance by parents of the students under study. After analysis of the data the Researcher finds significant relationship between parents’ involvement and academic performance among students of Binyiny secondary school, Binyiny town council, kween district. The recommendation of the study was that concerted efforts should be made by government and school administration to educate and sensitize parents to take up their responsibilities towards the education of their children.
