The results of the survey reveal that children who come from high socio-economic families and more so doubling to come from urban areas have high ability to literacy development. The numerous family backgrounds,, home based facilities and strategies for uniformity in diversity were accordingly enumerated by the respondents. It is observed that impoverished homes are short of facilities that are a prerequisite in literacy development. It is recommended that: MOES to support the training of the early learners, caregivers and the quality of teachers be looked into, also; schools should be furnished with among other things literacy related materials to boost the literacy development of the early learners; training and refresher courses to be conducted was also recommended to be considered. More researchers are recommended to analyze which socio-economic factors increase the literacy achievement of the early learners
