ABSTRACT The study was to assess the impact of access to Information computers Technology on pupil learning in schools. The specific objectives & the study ware: to establish the different forms of ICT used in pupil learning In the selected schools; to assess how ICT is used 18 schools; to establish the challenges ci incorporating ICT In pupil learning in schools. To gather data for the study required use of data collection methods that Included: self administered questionnaires, interviews, observation and review of literature related to the subject of study. The main findings of the study ware; When asked their views on how lOT is used In schoois, respondents reported that the use of lOT espedally computers Is on are class rotational basis, while some of the respondents reported that, there are no formal rules put in place for the usage of the computers. On lOT is usage in schools, respondents said that, lOT teaching and applicability is done only after formal teaching is over. This timing makes both the puplis and teachers feel that ICT is like one of the extra currIcula activities or a sport like physical Education, swimming, foot ball and volley ball.
