ABSTRACT This research was carried out determinant of non-achievements of students in Entrepreneurship Education in the secondary schools of Mbale Municipality Industrial Division, Mbale District. The purpose of the study was to examine the factors responsible for the above so that measures would be taken to rectify the situation. The objectives of the study ranged from the quality of teachers teaching Entrepreneurship Education to the teacher-student relationship. In this case factors like Discipline, Teaching methods, and facilities in the school were highly investigated. The rationale for the study was that the information provided would be used by the curriculum implementers to ensure successful implementation of the same. Corrective measures also can be instituted after provision of factors as this paper sought to do. To do this research work took form of a survey covering four schools from the selected area. One hundred sixty six students were randomly selected to participate in this study. Among the respondents were also twenty two teachers and only four Head Teachers. To collect data, about three instruments were used. These were questionnaire, interview schedules and observation sheets and they all collected useful data. This data was collected using descriptive method and it was presented using tables and measures were through the percentages. The study revealed that among others the determinants of nonachievement in Entrepreneurship Education was due to poor job satisfaction because most of the teachers did not real train to teach Entrepreneurship Education. Inappropriate use of teaching methodologies was yet another factor, limited resources and school facilities were a stumbling block to achievement in Entrepreneurship Education. The main findings in this study were that most of the teachers teaching Entrepreneurship Education even though some were professional teachers but did not actually train to teach Entrepreneurship Education. It was found out that the discipline in the school either directly or indirectly affects their academic achievement. To mitigate recommendations were made to both policy makers in the matters of Entrepreneurship Education and also to further researchers for exampleCareer guidance should be put in place so that students are told the benefits of studying Entrepreneurship Education. To retain teachers in upcountry schools, government should consider introducing upcountry allowance in the remuneration scheme of teachers this will retain the upcountry teachers Government should provide more teaching learning facilities in schools to make the learning environment more attractive to students and teachers.
